I figured I did not enroll.Ī few days before the trial period ended I logged in to cancel, at which time I read that the only way to cancel is by clicking "cancel" on one of the emails (never) sent. The company do not have a refund policy, even if they are at fault! I think this resource as a micro-learning tool has a lot of potential. Overall, I am very happy with my experience with Highbrow, and the plethora of interesting and diverse courses to choose from. These precise estimated or suggested time lengths for each course could make it manageable – even if just psychologically – for folks to carve out time in their day to do the reading and homework at some point in the day, especially if they have a packed day. If possible or applicable, an estimated length of time for doing the "lesson homework" would also be helpful. It might also be helpful if there was a stated suggested or estimated length of time that it would take a reader to go through a specific lesson (e.g., putting the estimated time for reading at the top of the email in the header, beside/below the lesson title). On occasion, I have also found that the amount of text in a Highbrow lesson is too heavy to manage. Spelling mistakes and awkwardness in the emails negatively affect the content and my learning experience. However, I do find it irksome when I come across the occasional typo and/or awkward writing in a course – which I know can be easily fixed by a careful copywriting and proofreading process. The art classes, such as the impressionist artists course and mindful creativity course, were very pleasant. I have gotten a lot of helpful tips for boosting my productivity, in particular. This is a three-step process that involves applying a brow shaping (perming) solution to break down the bonds within the brows, then using a fixing solution to set and form the hairs into the new shape, and finally, a brow serum application to lock in moisture.I have learned interesting, helpful, and/or enlightening things through each of the Highbrow courses to which I have subscribed. ![]() This is a treatment that relaxes and straightens the brow hair, allowing the brow to be styled in a variety of different ways such as sleek, straight, arched or fluffy. ▪️ Brow lamination differs as it doesn't change the colour of your eyebrow hairs or the skin underneath Instead, it redirects the way your eyebrows grow. ![]() The henna on your eyebrow hairs can last up to six weeks and the skin tint will last between two and ten days depending on the skin type.
